From the Middle East to the world.
Bringing some of Middle East's finest handmade fashion and homeware to the world, start-up Atharna needed a brand identity and visual language that was modern with subtle hints of culture. Through many explorations, the identity became inspired by the patterns visible in Middle Eastern architecture. The notched details in the logotype and symbol work cleverly to mimic characteristics of these patterns, which is further enhanced when the symbol is organised into a pattern itself. The colours are influenced by the sand and traditional apparel of the regions, which help create a simple and affluent visual language that captures the essense of the Middle East in a clever and understated way.
